JSF 2.0 Cross-field Form Validation – With Seam, Simple in Reality
I’d like to start by saying that using JSF by itself can sometimes feel trying to pull your own teeth out with a pair of tweezers, but there’s hope. JSF was designed to be a platform of extensions – a foundation for building web-frameworks, and that it’s done very well. JSF 2.0 addresses most of the concerns about usability (so there’s less tooth pulling,) and provides even more extensibility. That’s where Seam Faces comes in, that’s where PrettyFaces comes in.

Will Microsoft use SharePoint/Office 2010 to Own the Cloud?
I had the opportunity to interview Microsoft's Vice President Jeff Teper today. He has been managing the development effort for SharePoint from when it was just a gleam in Bill's eye. And next week SharePoint 2010 is officially released. He graciously took the time for an interview with me today, and gave a really interesting picture of SharePoint, as well as some other subjects.
The conclusion I took away from this interview? That through Office & SharePoint, Microsoft has a very good shot at owning the cloud.

Another Distributed Caching Solution from IBM: This Time It's Hardware
It's Tuesday, so that means IBM must have released a new data cache solution to compliment all of their other data cache solutions. And apparently, it does come in 'purple.'
